React Job: Head of Software Engineering (Director I - Deliver

We are recruiting for a Head of Engineering who will be responsible for a number of customer portfolios; undergoing large digital transformation projects across the UK.

The successful applicant will have the following skills/ experience:

• Strong technical vision and strategy for development methodologies
• Confidence leading large software engineering teams in the design and development of highly complex eCommerce platforms and products.
• Ability to converse with CXO level executives
• Be responsible for the architecture and design of the systems developed working closely with senior leaders advising and implementing effective delivery management processes for large organisations Help customers to build cross functional teams with a CI/CD mindset focused on delivering value to customers early
• Advise customers on developing/enhancing a cloud native compossible commerce solution comprising of ReactJS, NodeJS/Java and Adobe stack to create an omni-channel personalised customer experience
• Help customer stakeholders at IT and business side to embrace an Agile first delivery approach
• Confident being a trusted advisor to UST teams in delivering an outcome based engagement to customer and generate value for both UST and customer
• Strong client facing skills
• Ability to travel across the UK
